*One Vascular Health & Imaging *is seeking a licensed *Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse *certified in *Sclerotherapy. * In this role, the *Sclerotherapy Nurse *will consult with patients about and perform sclerotherapy treatment for the patient?s surface veins. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a cosmetic setting and develop and hone a specialized set of skills utilizing safer, more effective and minimally invasive treatment options. The Nurse may also be called upon to assist the vascular surgeon in clinic with patient intake and various duties. *One Vascular *is a leader in cosmetic vascular treatment and is supported by a team of academic vascular surgeons. Explain the risks, potential complications and post-care instructions * Perform sclerotherapy * Monitor patient and provide appropriate care during the patient?s recovery period * Respond to patient telephone calls regarding medical conditions and emergencies * Evaluate the patient?s treatment plan on an ongoing basis * Educate patients and/or their families about preventative care, medical issues and the use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications * Educate patient on use of compression stockings and measure/ for and dispense appropriate size * Order and maintain the proper inventory of medical supplies and insure treatment rooms are stocked appropriately * Track and document the effectiveness of treatment though photos and notes * Insure that patient records are accurate and complete including notes to appropriate document patient?s treatment and activity. Facilitate evaluation of records by physicians, peers and Quality and Standards according to established protocols *Educational/License/Certification Requirements:* * Graduation from an approved RN/RPN program * Minimum of one year experience * CME Accredited Cosmetic Sclerotherapy Training and Certification Course *Details * * *$34-40 per hour (based on experience)* * Part-time positions available * Monday to Friday day shifts * Brand new modern facility Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $34.00-$38.00 per hour Schedule: * Day shift Work Location: In person- LocationOakville, ON
