As our Shopify Developer, you will take ownership of our website performance and development. You?ll transform Figma designs into high-performing Shopify pages, improve user experience, and build scalable solutions that directly impact revenue. *Key Responsibilities* * Develop and maintain Shopify storefront (frontend & backend) * Convert Figma designs into Shopify pages * Customize and optimize Shopify themes (primarily Dawn) * Build new features and integrations to improve UX * Create responsive pages across mobile and desktop * Troubleshoot bugs and ensure site stability * Implement scalable solutions aligned with business goals * Collaborate closely with the founder and designer * Provide regular updates on progress and deliverables *Requirements* * Proven experience in Shopify development * Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid * Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations * Familiarity with themes like Dawn and frameworks like Hydrogen * Experience with backend languages (PHP, Ruby, or Python) is a plus * Strong understanding of SEO and performance optimization * Proficiency in Figma and pixel-perfect implementation * Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively * Strong communication and time management skills *Nice to Have* * Experience working in e-commerce or with SMEs * Knowledge of payment gateways, shipping systems, and tax setups * Previous experience working with Canadian businesses * Shopify certifications Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Work Location: In person- Location Toronto, ON
