Available to start ASAP!!! Mara Home and Health Services is currently looking for a foot care nurse dedicated to providing quality care. Our diversified services are delivered by a broad spectrum of professionals. Eligible applicants must have the following *professional credentials:* * Valid LPN or RN license * Advanced Foot Care Certification * Knowledge of conditions affecting foot health, including diabetes * *Class 5 drivers license; Must have own vehicle* *Key Responsibilities* * Provide assessment, care and advice for clients; * Care includes clipping nails, treating corns, calluses, ingrown nails and thickened nails; * Clients include the elderly diabetes and other health issues; Suggest and provide preventative care plans * Educating the patient, the patient?s family, and any other support persons on care techniques * Provide assessment, care and advice for clients * Suggest and implement preventative care plans * Responsibility, time management and trustworthiness * Complete accurate documentation concerning client condition * All safety rules and safe work procedures are adhered to at all times * Documentation regarding client activities, progress, and treatment plans * Adhere to the policies to ensure client/family privacy and confidentiality * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, caring * Treat clients, team members and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image. * Demonstrated ability to develop rapport, trust, and ethical relationships with clients/families, client care providers and other health care professionals and providers * Must have excellent verbal and written skills * Reliable, with good time management skills *Pay*: *Rate of $55 per hour * Schedule: * Day shift Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Licence/Certification: * Advanced Foot Care Certification (required) * RN or LPN License (required) Work Location: In person- Location Winnipeg, MB
