Position Summary: We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Social Worker to join our non-profit organization serving Northern Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will provide assessment, counselling, advocacy, crisis intervention, and case management to individuals and families experiencing medical, mental health, emotional, and social challenges. Using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach, the Medical Social Worker will connect clients with healthcare, housing, income assistance, education, disability supports, and community resources. Key Responsibilities: Conducting psychosocial assessments, developing individualized service plans, coordinating referrals, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community agencies, and supporting clients through treatment, recovery, and community transitions. The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, case notes, and records while ensuring strict confidentiality of client information in accordance with privacy legislation, ethical guidelines, professional standards, and organizational policies. The successful candidate must exercise sound professional judgment when managing sensitive and confidential information.Qualifications: Bachelor of Social Work from an accredited institution and registration or eligibility for registration with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. Experience in healthcare, social services, mental health, addictions, or community-based services is preferred. Experience working with Indigenous communities and knowledge of culturally responsive practices are considered assets. A valid Class 5 Driver's License, Criminal Record Check, and Vulnerable Sector Check are required.Salary and Benefits: Annual salary of $75,000$90,000 based on qualifications and experience, comprehensive health benefits, employer-paid pension contribution of 8%, six weeks of paid vacation annually, two wellness days per month, and 1.25 sick days accrued monthly.- Location La Ronge, SK
