Being part of the team means committing to an environment where everyone?s impact truly matters.</p><br/><p>At Agropur, accountability means owning challenges and taking concrete action to achieve results.</p><br/><p><b>?An environment that empowers you to take action:? </b></p><li>Recognition of years of service for vacation calculation; </li><li>Flexible group insurance plan including telemedicine services; </li><li>Employee assistance program; </li><li>Opportunities to invest in yourself (career development, etc.); </li><li>Pension plan with company contributions; </li><li>Salary range 004: 73 000$ à 91 200$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)</li><li>Rotational shift</li><br/><br/><p><b>?What you?ll be responsible for each day:? </b></p><p>The <b>Production Supervisor</b> is responsible for managing production teams, overseeing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the smooth execution of operations, from the receipt of raw materials to the distribution of finished products.</p><br/><p>Reporting to the <b>Production Manager</b>, the supervisor plays a key role in achieving production targets in terms of quality, volume, cost, and delivery timelines, while fostering a strong culture of health and safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.</p><br/><p>As a <b>change agent</b>, the Production Supervisor contributes to the transformation of operations by promoting efficiency, accountability, and employee engagement.</p><li><b>Lead end-to-end production operations</b>, from raw material reception through to shipment, ensuring timelines and customer requirements are met</li><li><b>Deliver the production plan</b> by achieving volume, quality, and cost targets</li><li><b>Plan and optimize resource utilization</b>, including labor, raw materials, and production inputs</li><li><b>Supervise, engage, and develop teams</b>, including hiring, training, performance management, discipline, and employee development</li><li><b>Maintain effective and positive labor relations</b>, in compliance with collective agreements and company policies</li><li><b>Ensure the highest standards in health & safety, quality, and food safety</b>, including oversight of sanitation activities</li><li><b>Monitor operational performance (KPIs)</b> and lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce losses</li><li><b>Actively contribute to organizational objectives</b>, by applying policies, participating in committees, and supporting strategic initiatives</li><br/><br/><p><b>?The individual who will own this role?</b> </p><li>Minimum of <b>two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role</b> in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Experience in the <b>food or dairy industry</b>, an asset</li><li>Experience in a <b>unionized environment</b>, an asset</li><li>College diploma or bachelor?s degree in <b>operations management, engineering, food processing, or a related field required</b></li><li>An equivalent combination of <b>education and/or experience will be considered</b></li><br/><br/><p><b>An environment that values engagement and encourages everyone to take initiative.</b></p><br/><p>Agropur welcomes people from all backgrounds and origins.
