*Position Summary* Prism Industrial Services Inc. is seeking an experienced *Millwright (Industrial Mechanic)* to support industrial installation, maintenance, and fabrication work across a variety of client sites. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work independently in the field, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer service. *Key Responsibilities* * Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical issues in industrial equipment and machinery * Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs, including lubrication, cleaning, alignment, and component replacement * Install, assemble, and maintain industrial equipment, including conveyors, platforms, and associated systems * Fabricate, fit, and weld components as required to support installations and repairs * Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals * Complete accurate layout and field measurements to support installations and fabrication * Install structural components, supports, and platforms in accordance with drawings and site requirements * Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification * Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts in a safe and responsible manner * Maintain a high standard of workmanship and housekeeping on all job sites * Provide professional, solutions-oriented service to internal teams and client representatives *Qualifications & Experience* * Minimum *4 years of experience* as a Millwright / Industrial Mechanic in industrial or construction environments * Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, including: * Industrial machinery and rotating equipment * Hydraulics and pneumatics * Basic low-voltage electrical systems * HVAC or process-related mechanical systems (asset) * Proven experience with fabrication and welding (carbon steel and stainless steel preferred) * Demonstrated experience installing conveyors, platforms, and industrial equipment * Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical documentation * Forklift experience (certification considered an asset) * Layout and field measurement experience * Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (written and verbal) *Additional Requirements* * Ability to work safely in industrial environments and follow all Prism and site-specific safety policies * Physically capable of performing the duties of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces * Willingness to travel to client sites and work variable hours as required by project schedules *Disclaimer* This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
