The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services. *WHY CHOOSE RURAL HEALTH CARE:* · Continued growth of experience · Higher quality of life · Positive work/life balance *ABOUT THE ROLE:* · Effectively perform technical examination according to department and governing standards · Is responsible for making clinical decisions, exercising judgement to ensure department protocol and patient safety is not compromised · Participates in departmental Quality Assurance programs and is knowledgeable in the utilization and care of department equipment · Participates with week-end and on call rotation · Rotates through Ultrasound & X-Ray *MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:* · Successful completion of an approved Radiography Program · Is registered and in good standing with CMRITO · Must have proof of valid liability insurance *PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* · Knowledge of Meditech Expanse · Excellent interpersonal and interprofessional teamwork skills · Excellent time management and organizational skills · Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills · High Standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information · Motivated self-learner, who seeks and evaluates learning opportunities to enhance patient care and continuously strives to maintain lifelong learning · Demonstrated good work performance and attendance record *ASSETS:* · Bilingual ?
