Train technicians, assistants, students or interns. Assist radiation oncologists and clinical physicists with preparation of radiation treatment plan. Apply radiation protection measures. Explain procedures and side effects of radiation. Record and process patient data. Provide appropriate care and monitoring of the patient during the examination. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Certification of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Certification by a provincial or territorial association. Area of work experience: Teaching. Specialization in clinical medicine: Radiation oncology. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication.
