In this capacity, the Office Manager plays a crucial role of the day-to-day administrative functions and processes at a Long Term Community or Retirement Residence. This role is responsible for creating an enriching experience for both Team Members and Residents, fostering an environment where every individual feels valued and cared for. Facilitate the move-in and discharge processes for residents and their families, ensuring the completion and compliance of necessary documents such as contracts and power of attorney, adhering to both organizational and legal standards</p><p>? Handle the processing of annual rent and additional charges to residents' accounts</p><p>? Generate billing for residents, and manage the reconciliation of invoices, payments, and tax documents</p><p>? Assist residents in exploring financial assistance options, including access to power of attorney, public guardian trustee services, and the updating of health card and provincial documents</p><p>? Address and resolve financial inquiries or concerns from residents, their families, and vendors, escalating complex issues to higher management as needed</p><p>? Keep precise records, provide monthly reports, and explain any discrepancies in accounts receivable and payable transactions</p><p>? Oversee a petty cash system and a trust fund for petty cash disbursements</p><p>? Create and manage Purchase Orders and maintain purchase journals</p><p>? Compile and submit bi-weekly payroll reports for timely payroll processing </p><p><b>Who You Are: </b></p><p>? Educated with a diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline</p><p>? Highly skilled in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), with a good understanding of HRIS, Yardi, and PCC systems</p><p>? Possess exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, consistently meeting deadlines</p><p>? <b>B</b><b>ilingual proficiency English and French preferred</b> </p><p>? Demonstrates robust problem-solving abilities</p><p>? Well-versed in payroll processes, including time and attendance systems, and HR practices</p><p>? Knowledgeable about collective agreements and employment legislation related to pay</p><p>? Beneficial if you have previous experience in a healthcar- Location Clarence-Rockland, ON
