The Ministry of Social Services is seeking Child Protection Workers for term roles in Fort QuAppelle, offering the opportunity to deliver protective, preventative, and support services to children and families through a familycentred case management model. This role supports child safety, family stability, and community wellbeing while contributing to the Government of Saskatchewans commitment to service excellence, collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from an accredited institution recognized by SASW/CASW or CASWE. Required competencies include communication, critical thinking, digital and data literacy, influencing, and organizational awareness, along with the ability to assess risk, understand family dynamics, and apply knowledge of poverty and systemic barriers. The role requires travel, flexible hours, transporting clients, and meeting physical demands. Responsibilities include investigating abuse or neglect, assessing risk, developing and implementing intervention plans, supporting children in care, coordinating services, initiating court proceedings when needed, advocating for clients, and maintaining documentation to professional standards.
